It's Laser Season
Lasers and light-based devices aren't interchangeable, and they aren't ranked from better to worse. Each is built to solve a different problem, at a different depth, with a different recovery. A practice with one or two lasers will recommend one of them, not necessarily because it's the best fit, but because it's what's available.
This page is organized the way a consultation actually works: by concern first, not by device name. Find what's bothering you below, see which treatments are built to address it, and book at the location nearest you when you're ready.
New Patient Welcome
Every laser plan starts with a consultation, not a menu. Share a few details and a concierge will help match the right treatment to what your skin actually needs.
Your first visit includes one of the following
One offer per new client, redeemable at your first visit. Offers may not be combined.
A Word on Candidacy
Certain lasers carry different considerations depending on Fitzpatrick skin type, and an experienced provider factors that in before recommending one option over another. This is one of the more important reasons a proper consultation, rather than a quick look at this page, is the right starting point, not an extra step.
The Person Behind the Protocol
A nationally recognized expert in cosmetic dermatology and laser medicine, with more than twenty years in the field. After graduating with honors from UCLA, she headed east for medical school at Drexel College of Medicine in Philadelphia, where she served as class president, then extended her residency specifically to specialize in cosmetic and laser medicine at a time when few physicians did.
"There were dermatologists and plastic surgeons, but you really didn't have a lot of laser specialists twenty years ago. When I originally opened, there were only one or two of us. I was fortunate. I knew I only wanted to do one hundred percent cosmetic medicine."
Timing, Stated Plainly
Fall and winter tend to be a sensible window to begin more intensive laser work, largely because of lower UV exposure and easier recovery. It isn't the only window. Plenty of patients start in spring for the opposite reason, wanting results in place before summer arrives.
A laser plan is rarely a single visit. Most begin with a series of sessions spaced several weeks apart, with results building and settling over that period.
